The terrorist attack at Munich Riem Airport targeted passengers and the crew of an Israeli El Al flight from Tel Aviv via Munich to London. 18 transit passengers bound for London and the eleven-strong crew were immediately caught up in the attack. Five passengers and three crew members were injured. The perpetrators also injured two security officers. Most of those affected by the attack were British and Israeli nationals. The perpetrators killed passenger Arie Katzenstein in the shuttle bus by a hand grenade. Survivors and relatives of the victims still suffer from the consequences from the aftermath of this act of terrorism to this day. Some of them are presented here.
